President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana - Distinguished Lecture in African Studies

Penn President Liz Magill gave opening remarks at the 2023 annual Distinguished Lecture in African Studies sponsored by the Center for Africana Studies, Perry World House, Penn Global, and the Wharton Africa Student Association.  President Masisi was joined on stage by Wale Adebanwi, Penn Presidential Penn Compact Professor of Africana Studies, where they discussed Botswana’s many successes.
