Annenberg Lecture with Maria Ressa

Penn President Liz Magill was joined by Dean John Jackson in introducing Maria Ressa, CEO of Rappler, Journalist, Author, Freedom Advocate, and 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Winner, at this year’s Annenberg Lecture held at the Annenberg School for Communication.  Ressa’s talk was entitled “What Are You Willing to Sacrifice for the Truth?” and was followed by a Q&A session.

The annual Annenberg Lecture is sponsored by the Annenberg School for Communication and the Annenberg Public Policy Center and brings to Penn leaders in academia, politics, public policy, or the media.
