Amy Gutmann Hall Topping Off Ceremony
July 26, 2023
President Liz Magill
Penn President Liz Magill joined a ceremony led by Penn School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean Vijay Kumar to officially "top off" Amy Gutmann Hall. Members of the Penn community came out to sign the final roofing panel and see it raised into place. At six stories, this will be Philadelphia’s tallest mass timber structure when it is completed in 2024. We are deeply grateful to Harlan Stone, C’80, whose generosity and ambitious vision for the future of data science at Penn made Amy Gutmann Hall possible. This new space for innovation and data-driven advancements will foster collaborative research and teaching, and drive progress in every field.
